For Veterans Day 2011, the Helping Our Heroes  program expanded to include a collection of items for care packages to be sent overseas to our troops. The effort was supported by HAYS Cleaning, Inc., as well as area individuals, businesses and churches. (See the Supporters page for a listing.) Fifteen boxes of items were shipped to the troops on December 5, 2011.
